Dear Friends,

In response to the recommendations of the president, our state and local medical and dental societies, and for the safety and health of our patients and employees, we will be scaling back our patient and guest visits to reduce our “social” interaction with the hope we can stem the tide of COVID-19 viral infections.

Our policy on this will remain dynamic on a daily basis as this episode evolves. Americans are resolute in overcoming this viral outbreak and confident we will be back to our normal work week shortly. As per the recommendations, we will be doing only necessary treatment and we will reschedule elective treatment in the weeks to come. We will be available two mornings a week until our leaders feel they have stemmed the coronavirus infection and we can return to a normal work week.

In the meantime, we are in the office answering phone calls and scheduling appointments. We will reduce social interaction but you can still stop by and say hello several days during the week. We will honor any specials or gift certificates on our facial esthetic and cosmetic dental services. Gift certificates are always available.

We encourage you all to take this time to pull back the curtain, find the positive. Spend time educating yourself with books, webinars, online training, as we are doing. There are projects we can work on as well. Spend time with your family, go for walks and hikes and go out to the parks and enjoy the warming weather.

It is amazing the positivity and confidence of our patients and clients as our schedule in May is already filling up. We will continue to do the most sane thing possible, which is planning for the future and the growth of our practice, and planning to help our patients and clients have healthy and attractive faces and smiles. See you soon!

Remember to do the following now and in the future:

  1. Wash your hands frequently and often. Use disinfectant soaps or solutions like Pre-fense.
  2. Don’t touch your face.
  3. Disinfect all surfaces regularly, including door and glass panels, light switches and door handles, and wipe in one direction with disinfectant wipes that are tuberculocidal and sporicidal.  Bleach is great. Leave it in contact with surfaces for several minutes. Have them with you at all times.
  4. Take your clothes off when you enter the house, put them in the wash immediately.
  5. Take your shoes off outside if possible and turn them over so the soles are exposed to UV rays.
  6. Use PPE whenever and wherever needed. This will become a routine part of our lives.
  7. Sick people should isolate themselves especially if traveling to/from viral “hotspots.”
  8. Maintain a safe social distance, which currently is 6 feet.
  9. Help us.  Please forward this message, copy it, share it, email it to everyone you know.
